Column-type porcelain insulator is a porcelain insulation device used for high-voltage transmission lines, featuring the following characteristics and applications:
Structure and Materials
Uses a solid porcelain structure, mainly composed of high-purity alumina, zirconia, and other materials, assembled with cement adhesive, possessing high temperature resistance, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Performance Characteristics
High mechanical strength: porcelain parts use a sandblasting process on the column body to enhance mechanical strength; the flange is made of ductile cast iron and hot-dip galvanized, providing strong rust resistance.
Pollution and corrosion resistance: surface corrugation design can block the flow of dirty water, reducing the adhesion of pollutants, suitable for medium to heavily polluted areas.
Applicable environment: operating temperature range -40℃ to +40℃; the standard type is suitable for altitudes below 1000 meters, and the plateau type can reach up to 4000 meters.
Application Scenarios
Mainly used in outdoor power stations, substations distribution devices, and power equipment with power frequency AC voltage of 10-500kV, supporting and insulating conductive parts.
Advantages
Simple structure: single-column design, low maintenance, long service life.
High reliability: performance ensured through individual impact testing, ultrasonic flaw detection, and four-direction bending load tests.
